A girl who spends half her time writing YA/NA novels, free verse poetry, or short stories that could keep you up at night and the other half trying to convince her best friend that evil bubbles are not going to take over the world.
I participated in the first Camp NaNoWriMo in August 2011, reaching 17,021 words. It was a far cry from 50k, but it was progress. I also tried Camp NaNoWriMo in August 2012, finishing with a total of 23,090. Again, I fell short, but, again, progress is progress. I skipped Camp NaNoWriMo 2013, but tried again in 2014. My goal for April was the 18k I hoped would finish a previously started rough draft. I reached 6,807 words. In July, I aimed to complete the rest of that 18k with 11,193 words. I ended with 11,864 (or 11,867 if you ask Word). FINALLY.
