Three years ago, we threw open the gates to Camp NaNoWriMo. Honestly? We were nervous. What if nobody showed up? What if our grand plans for a virtual writing retreat came screeching to an early halt? But there our Campers were. They had grand plans. They had vision. They had big, uncontainable voices. Since that first day, more than 40,000 authors have taken aim at their goals during Camp NaNoWriMo.

This year, we held our breath, threw open Camp’s gates, and found, well… you. Your grand plans. Your vision. Your big, uncontainable voice. And with your help, Camp NaNoWriMo HQ will reach into 500 regions, 2,000 classrooms, and 200 libraries to make sure that people from every background know that their stories, no matter how small, matter, too.
